hi this is dave from the philippines. i was searching for some user reviews of the dsc s40 cam and i found your blog. the photos taken with this camera are really awesome. i cant wait to have this camera.. but what i dont like about this cam is the size of the LCD and it does not have manual control unlike DSC s60 that has 2" LCD and manual controls.. what do u think? by the way, are you having any problems/troubles with this camera so far? thx! ΓΌ
well dave, i am not experiencing anything that would make me hate my camera. The only thing that i dont like is that whenever i think that i have sufficiant light and i want the flash to be off, it indicates that my hands are shaking and the images are blur. I am not able to identify the reason behind this but other than that its a good machine and excels in outdoor results be it day or night.
